"For sharing Art is its primary purpose."

Born in France in 1972, following a career in sports and captivated by classical painting studied in art history at the University of Lyon, Olivier Talon dedicated himself fully to oil painting, inspired by discussions and exchanges he organized with contemporary artists from diverse backgrounds.
"For me, the very essence of art is to spark interactions." – Olivier Talon.

It was while sharing Bruno Poyet’s studio that the two artists decided to launch an art festival in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. Their goal : to highlight the relational dimension between artists and the public, inspired by Albert Camus’s definition of Art. Renowned figures have already taken part in this major event, including director Ridley Scott, visual artist Béatrice Arthus-Bertrand, and sculptors Laurent Perbos and Richard di Rosa — one of the pioneers of the Figuration Libre movement.
Olivier Talon invites you from September 11 to 20, 2026, for the fourth edition of the "Partage des Arts" festival.

Olivier Talon’s artistic work is in perpetual mutation. While until 2025 his painting revolved around the concept of the "link" through the fragmentation of his works into polyptychs, he now offers his interpretation of upcoming sociological issues.
By reappropriating major masterpieces of classical painting, he subverts them to reveal potential conjectures and spark contemporary reflection on our society.
