Based in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Olivier Talon creates a body of pictorial work centered on deconstruction, fragmentation, and assembly. Through modular polyptychs and large-scale oil paintings, the artist questions human interactions, memory, and contemporary sociological dynamics.

Each creation offers a dual perspective: up close, the texture, sanding, and layering of oil paint; from a distance, a overall structure that comes to full fruition within the exhibition space.

Featured in major contemporary art events, Olivier Talon's work has notably been exhibited at the Salon d’Automne (Paris 2024, Tokyo 2025).

His large-scale polyptychs take center stage in both solo and group exhibitions, across France and internationally.

As co-founder of the Partage des Arts festival, acclaimed by critics and the specialized press (with features in Le Figaro, Elle, Beaux Arts Magazine, etc.), his artistic approach has been recognized with prestigious institutional awards. These include the 2026 Authors’ Award "Lire sur la Sorgue" sponsored by Mazarine Pingeot, and the 2017 Jury Prize "Art Résilience".

Rooted in L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, the studio he shares with painter Bruno Poyet in the splendid Domaine de la Carichone is a hub of constant experimentation with materials, sanding, and layers of oil paint. He welcomes collectors, gallery owners, and art enthusiasts by appointment for private viewings of ongoing series.
